Enjoyed yesterday’s action? Want to know what’s on the cards for Sunday?
Starting the day off for Team GB are duo Helen Glover and Heather Stanning who had success at London 2012 with gold medals in an Olympic record time. They aim to add to their achievements with a gold medal on Sunday, starting at 12:30. Also in the spot light today is Lizzie Armistead, who will hope to put recent headlines behind her and improve on her silver medal in 2012 with a gold medal in the Road Race (starting 16:15). Interested in cycling? Cycling has been shown to be a beneficial exercise with aches and pains in the knees, but its important to watch your posture when on the bike. Too much leaning forward can put extra stress and tension on the lower back!
If you can stay up till the early hours of Monday morning, Adam Peaty is in the pool in the 100m breaststroke. He won two gold medals in the 2014 Commonwealth games with the 100m breaststroke and 4 × 100 m medley relay events.
